The loss of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau has deeply affected the hockey community, with many sharing their grief over the tragic loss of both brothers.
McDavid expressed that the entire hockey world will miss Johnny, and on a personal level, he will too. He said he's grateful for the years they competed in the Battle of Alberta, where he got to know Gaudreau's fierce competitive nature and also who he was off the ice.
