The Edmonton Oilers are headed to the Stanley Cup Finals, but there's controversy over officiating following their Game 6 win against the Stars.

After a tough series, the Oilers won three straight games against the Stars and will now face the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Finals. However, the win didn't come without drama. A social media user pointed out a missed call on Oilers captain Connor McDavid that could have changed the game in favor of the Stars.
Looks like McDavid got away with closing his hand on the puck 😬
A video shows the missed call clearly, and while it may not have changed the game's outcome, it adds to the belief among fans and analysts that McDavid is officiated differently than other NHL players. Despite the controversy, McDavid had an outstanding game, including a potential goal of the year, highlighting why the Oilers are confident in their bid for their first Stanley Cup since 1990.
Ultimately, the Oilers earned their spot in the Finals with three consecutive wins. However, it would be ideal for the NHL if their games could avoid such blatant missed calls.
