Connor McDavid revealed that he played the entire NHL playoffs with an abdominal injury, but fans are now calling it fake.
It might seem harsh to accuse a player of faking an injury, but videos recently surfaced of McDavid wakeboarding like a pro alongside his fiancée, raising doubts among fans.

Wakeboarding puts significant pressure on the abdomen, which McDavid claimed was injured during the playoffs. Now that fans have seen these videos, they are calling him a scammer.

Whether McDavid truly had an injury is unclear, but it didn't stop him from scoring 42 points in the Oilers' recent run to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. McDavid was also criticized for refusing to accept the Conn Smythe trophy from Gary Bettman.

The good news is that McDavid seems to be healthy. Hopefully, he won't use up all his energy wakeboarding this summer, as the Oilers will need him to score over 100 points again next season.
