The NHL Player Safety Department has officially confirmed Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk's fate for his actions on Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid.

Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Edmonton was intense, but it looks like no suspensions will result from the scuffle between superstar players.
Facing elimination, the Edmonton Oilers staged an offensive outburst to stay alive in the series. The game heated up after a knee-on-knee hit early on, culminating in a clash between Matthew Tkachuk and Connor McDavid, with Tkachuk trying to rally his team.
Despite Tkachuk's punches to McDavid, which led many to expect a suspension, Florida ultimately lost 8-1. However, the 5 pm deadline for supplementary discipline has passed, confirming no further action against Tkachuk.
Now that 5 pm EST has passed, it is official that Matthew Tkachuk will NOT be receiving any supplementary discipline for jumping a defenseless Connor McDavid
Following the decision not to suspend Leon Draisaitl after a hit in Game 2, it seems this was the right call. As the series moves back to Florida for Game 5, if the Oilers secure another win, the series will become even more competitive.
