The Minnesota Wild are expected to be a major force in the Western Conference in the 2023-24 season, but now, one of their most important young prospects has suffered a major setback.
According to a report out of Wild practice, former top-10 pick Marco Rossi has taken a skate to the face at practice which has forced him to leave the ice, with Jujhar Khaira taking over in his stead.
While there's no current footage of the incident, anything involving a skate could be incredibly dangerous, especially after the injury to Evander Kane a year ago, so now we hope that Rossi is fine and can get back on the ice at 100% as soon as possible.
