The Nashville Predators have terminated the contracts of one of their prospects.
Predators Terminate Kondelik
It has been announced that the Nashville Predators have terminated the contract of 23-year-old Jachym Kondelik.
Jachym Kondelik (NSH) is unconditional waivers for purpose of contract termination
Kondelik was selected by the Predators in the 4th round of the 2018 draft as a European who was heading to the NCAA. He impressed with UConn eventually finishing as their captain in his final year before transitioning to the pro game.
Kondelik has since played in the AHL with rather poor numbers worrying many on his potential NHL future. Now that his contract has been terminated, it is likely that Kondelik's NHL future will come with another team. However, there is no guarantee that he will get an NHL contract and this could be the end of his NHL dreams.
The terms for his termination are currently unknown.
