In breaking news, the New York Rangers have made announcement in regards to one of their star goaltenders.
Rangers Extend Jonathan Quick
The New York Rangers and goalie Jonathan Quick have agreed to extend his contract for one year, worth $1.275 million.
Quick, who joined the team this season, has been a solid backup to Igor Shesterkin. With a 13-5-2 record in 21 games, the 38-year-old has maintained a 2.45 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage. Ranking sixth among goalies who've played 20 or more games, Quick will get a raise from his current $825,000 salary.
He previously played for the Los Angeles Kings and Vegas Golden Knights, amassing 774 career games with a 388-282-86 record, and earning three Stanley Cup championships.
