Florida Panthers fans are furious and rightfully so for the way the NHL officials handled the elbow on Evan Rodrigues from New York Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba.

Jacob Trouba is making headlines in the Stanley Cup Playoffs again, and not in a good way.
Nearly three weeks after becoming a meme for a dangerous missed hit on Carolina Hurricanes forward Marty Necas, the Rangers captain is in trouble once more. During Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Rangers and Florida Panthers on Sunday, Trouba hit Evan Rodrigues in the face with his elbow late in the second period.

The hit was blatant, with Trouba leading with his elbow after missing a poke check in front of his own net. Rodrigues left the ice with help and didn't return for the rest of the period.
Despite the severity of the hit, Trouba was only given minor penalties for elbowing and slashing. Many fans were outraged that he wasn't ejected or given a more severe penalty, especially considering his history of dirty play.
Do you think this was worth a major penalty on Jacob Trouba?
