The NHL's regulations can be perplexing at times. Due to these rules, Brady Tkachuk and the Ottawa Senators face a suspension.

Impending Suspension for Tkachuk Over Instigation

Players who instigate in the game's final five minutes are subject to a one-game suspension, according to NHL rules.
Per NHL rule 46.21, Brady Tkachuk is set to be suspended for 1 game for receiving an instigator penalty in the last 5 minutes of regulation, while Head Coach DJ Smith would receive a $10,000 fine.
