In today's Flyers game, footage emerged of Tortorella berating 22-year-old Bobby Brink, sparking calls from fans on social media for the NHLPA to intervene.

Brink saw limited ice time of just 9:56, as Tortorella opted to bench him after the incident.
During the post-game press conference, Tortorella was asked if he had considered putting Brink on the ice in the game's final minutes to gain experience in crucial moments.
"Not with the stupidity prior, no. [Brink] and Lycksell, not with the stupidity, they wouldn't see any ice."
Tortorella's actions stem from his care for his players, even if he comes across as tough.
"It's evident that Tortorella values Brink. He holds both Brink and the team to a standard. It's not about Tortorella attacking Brink; it's about a coach who genuinely cares."
While some view Tortorella's actions as excessive, others argue that this is simply coaching and a common occurrence in the NHL. Despite the controversy, Tortorella's tough approach has contributed to the Flyers unexpected success this season, with the team securing a playoff spot.
