BREAKING: Four Players Claimed on Waivers Today
Today was the final day to claim players on waivers to have them be on the roster to start the year. As a result of this 4 players were claimed by various NHL franchises.
Four Players Claimed On Waivers
It has been confirmed by multiple sources that 4 players who were placed on waivers yesterday were claimed by a new team.
Waivers claims:
Ludvig - Pitt
Thomson - Ottawa
Greer - Calgary
Prosvetov - Col
Everyone else from yesterday cleared
Ludvig - Pitt

All four of these players will now have the opportunity to make an NHL roster in a new location. The only exception to his is Lassi Thomson who was re-claimed by the Ottawa Senators and will be able to be returned to the AHL without passing through waivers again. This will likely be what they decide to do.
