After a solid 10 seasons at the NHL level, yet another veteran is now heading overseas to reignite his career, and this time, it's former second-round pick Scott Harrington.
A solid piece

The 30-year old was taken in the second round back in the 2011 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, before ultimately appearing in just one season with the team.
The majority of Harrington's career was played in Columbus, where he tallied 7 goals and 37 points in 185 games, and after last appearing in the NHL for Anaheim a season ago, he's now looking for a different role.
Heading overseas
Today, the ZSC Lions in Switzerland officially announced the signing of Harrington for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.
While he was never able to become a star in the NHL, Harrington is a solid physical presence on the ice, and at 30-years of age, he's still got plenty of time to get back to the NHL if this stint goes well for him.
