The San Jose Sharks were expected to move Timo Meier ahead of this years Trade Deadline. No one expected him to move this soon.
According to Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic, the San Jose Sharks have traded Meier to the New Jersey Devils.
Meier, now 26, has played 57 games this season, scoring 31 goals and adding 21 assists.
At this time the return is not know.
The Devils are sitting 2nd in the Metro.
