A surprising waiver list today features a standout name with a significant history in the league.

Zach Bogosian, Former Third Overall Pick, Now on Waiver Wire

Two-time Stanley Cup champion and veteran of 783 NHL games, Zach Bogosian, has been placed on waivers. This move is particularly notable given that he was the third overall selection in the 2007 NHL draft.
He's in distinguished company on today's waiver list, joining the likes of ex-starting goalie Martin Jones and high-earning winger Joel Armia, who boasts a $3.4M contract.
It remains to be seen whether any teams will claim these players.
