For the second time this season, Toronto Maple Leafs' goaltender Ilya Samsonov found himself unable to complete an entire game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, and his frustration was palpable after being replaced.
During Monday night's game, the Lightning scored four goals within the first 15 minutes, prompting head coach Sheldon Keefe to substitute Samsonov by Joseph Woll.
In that game, Nikita Kucherov scored two goals against Samsonov and assisted on another. On Monday night, Lightning forwards added two more goals against Samsonov, with Kucherov contributing assists for the other two goals scored against him.
