Mitch Marner has been a hot topic in trade talks for the Maple Leafs recently, and now an interesting Western Conference team is showing interest.

After another disappointing playoff performance from Mitch Marner, many expect the Maple Leafs to trade him this summer, especially with his Unrestricted Free Agency coming up in 2025. There's already been a lot of interest reported, and now David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period has revealed that the Nashville Predators are very interested in the star forward.
With Juuse Saros likely to be on the trade market soon, the pieces for a deal are already in place. The Maple Leafs need a star goalie to pursue their Stanley Cup goals in 2025, and the Predators need some star power up front. If a deal can be centered around Marner for Saros, it makes sense for both teams.
"I believe Nashville - at some point - has been one of the teams that have said, 'if you consider moving him, give us a call.'"

It's still unclear if Toronto is actively looking to trade Marner or just open to listening to offers, but if the Predators are indeed interested, they could be a very intriguing destination for him.
