The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that they have signed goaltender Jon Gillies to a professional tryout offer (PTO).
Free agent goalie Jon Gillies, 30, will attend the Toronto Maple Leafs training camp on a professional tryout, the team announced Tuesday.
Gillies has played 35 NHL games over parts of four seasons with the Flames, Blues, Devils, and Blue Jackets. His most recent NHL appearance was during the 2022-23 season with Columbus, where he had a 1-1-0 record, an .864 save percentage, and a 4.57 goals-against average in two starts and one relief appearance.
