Nick Ritchie, who is currently playing with Karpat in the Finnish Elite League, was ejected from a game for a major outburst on the ice.

Ritchie completely lost it and attacked an oppnent who was lyaing on the ice, trying to protect himself.
The former NHLer was ejected from the game and the League is presently reviewing the incident. He could receive a significant suspension.

Ritchie Faces Long Suspension After Losing His Cool on the Ice
We don't have explanations for why Ritchie did it, but regardless of what provoked him, the league will surely give him a severe punishment.
"This attack is unconscionable. Nick Ritchie has 483 career PIM in 481 games. This goon should be banned from the league. It's a 5 game suspension and referral for discipline. I, and others in the comments, hope that he is charged with assault and put in jail."
Drafted 10th overall by the Ducks in 2014, Ritchie also played with the Bruins, Maple Leafs, Coyotes and Flames before moving to Europe.
