The first big brawl of the NHL season erupted tonight between the New York Rangers and the Boston Bruins.
While the NHL preseason is usually more relaxed, that wasn't the case tonight. A huge fight broke out involving players like Mark Kastelic, Victor Mancini, Brennan Othmann, and Parker Wotherspoon. The brawl took place in front of the Rangers' net as the second period ended with the score tied 2-2.

This could be the first of many fights between these teams. The Bruins have physical players like Brad Marchand, and the Rangers boast up-and-coming enforcer Matt Rempe.
In the end, the Rangers won the game 3-2 after a third-period goal by Alex Belzile, assisted by Filip Chytil.

As the season progresses, it'll be interesting to see if the physical rivalry between these teams intensifies in future matchups.
