The Detroit Red Wings are facing off against the Buffalo Sabres in a must-win game as they are both fighting for the final wild card spot and things got pretty heated.
Chiarot Accidentally Punches Referee In The Face
In the first period, Detroit Red Wings defenseman Ben Chiarot got pretty frustrated. Chiarot, upset with his team on a 7-game losing streak and trailing 1-0, went after Jordan Greenway of the Buffalo Sabres. Despite Greenway being bigger and laughing off Chiarot's attempts, Chiarot still wanted to fight. As he went to throw a punch, referee O'Quinn stepped in and got the worst of it.

Surprisingly, no penalties were called.
