Last night, the Montreal Canadiens put on an impressive show against the Oilers in Edmonton, but unfortunately fell short with a 3-2 loss in overtime. Goalie Samuel Montembeault's performance was outstanding, surely making Martin St-Louis proud.
However, after the game, a regrettable incident occurred as a major fight broke out among the fans. Primarily involving supporters of the local team, there were also Montreal Canadiens fans caught up in the altercation.
It's always disheartening to see such scenes, especially after an exciting game, but thankfully, they are relatively rare. In comparison, fights are much more frequent and common at NFL football games.
