BREAKING: Dach's Season May Be Over After Brutal Injury News

When Kirby Dach left Saturday's game against the Blackhawks early it did not seem as though his injury was catastrophic. Today though, we learned that it has put his season in jeopardy.
Dach Tears MCL and ACL, Could Be Done For Season
Sportsnet reporter Eric Engels reported today on X that Kirby Dach has torn his MCL and ACL in one knee. The team has yet to confirm this but it seems likely that Dach's season may be over.
Dach sustained the injury when he was hit by Blackhawks defenseman Jarred Tinordi into the Hawks bench Saturday night when the Canadiens hosted Chicago. There was no penalty on the play.
It looks like the Canadiens will have to play the rest of the season down one of their promising young forwards. It will be a big blow to the young team that is looking to climb up the standings.
