The Bruins have picked up right where they left off last year despite a disappointing 1st round exit in the playoffs. The titans of the east are off to a perfect 6-0 start but they will be without one of their veterans for the next couple of weeks.

Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery revealed this morning that Lucic suffered an injury in the Bruins' last game and he will be out 'a few weeks.' It was reported that Lucic had suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday and his re-evaluation apparently did not go so well. While the team failed to disclose specifics of the injury, it is believed to be related to a puck Lucic took off his skate during the game against Chicago.
Montgomery said that Milan Lucic will be out for a couple of weeks with a lower-body injury.

Lauko out for a week, he has a fracture, along with letting the swelling go down.

Montgomery also provided an update on winger Jakub Lauko, who suffered a scary injury against Chicago when he inadvertantly took Jason Dickinson's skate to the face. He will be out a week according to the Bruins head coach. The Bruins will this be shorthanded as they host the Anaheim Ducks tonight at 7:00PM EST.
