Jake Muzzin, a defenseman for the Toronto Maple Leafs, has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a cervical spine injury. The injury occurred during the Maple Leafs' game against the Arizona Coyotes in October, when Muzzin collided with Clayton Keller.

The severity of the injury was initially unclear, but it was later revealed that Muzzin had suffered a cervical spine injury. The team's medical staff has since advised that Muzzin rest and rehabilitate the injury, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.
This is a significant blow for the Maple Leafs, as Muzzin is a key member of their defense and has been instrumental to their d-core. The team will now need to rely on other players to step up in Muzzin's absence and maintain their position in the highly competitive Atlantic Division.
Muzzin's health and well-being are the top priority, and the Maple Leafs organization will no doubt ensure that he receives the best possible care and support during his recovery.
