The Chicago Blackhawks welcomed the Vegas Golden Knights to their home ice last night, ultimately securing a 3-2 victory in a shootout.

During overtime, Patrick Kane found himself on a breakaway and, aware of the dwindling time, opted for a slap shot, skillfully placing the puck in the net. However, Kane's effort was just shy of the final buzzer, requiring a shootout to ultimately determine the winner of the game.
