The NHL 2024-25 preseason is well underway, and the stakes on the ice are already getting high. The Toronto Maple Leafs were set to face off against the Montreal Canadiens from their home stadium the Scotiabank Arena. After
losing back-to-back games against the Ottawa Senators, Nick Robertson tried to take matters into his own hands to push against the Habs and earn their first win. Unfortunately, his move was a
sloppy stick boost to William Nylander that forced him down on the ice, hitting his head on the leg of
Christian Dvorak. He then spent a few moments managing the pain before heading down the tunnel. Nick Robertson has, understandably, become the subject of ridicule for this failed move, including former NHLer Nick Kypreos.
