15-year veteran netminder Brian Elliott has officially retired from the NHL and moved on to a new role with the St. Louis Blues.

Brian Elliott is coming back to St. Louis, where he played from 2011 to 2016. This time, he will serve as the goaltending scout and development coach. The St. Louis Blues announced his new role on Monday afternoon.
Elliott, 39, retired from the NHL after the 2022-23 season. He was drafted 291st overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2003 and played 542 games in his career. Besides the Senators and the Blues, he also played for the Colorado Avalanche, Calgary Flames, Philadelphia Flyers, and Tampa Bay Lightning.
In his new role, Elliott will contribute to discussions for the upcoming draft in Las Vegas. With his extensive NHL experience, he will provide valuable insights for the team.
