In breaking news, 50-year-old iconic Russian goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has made a surprising comeback after more than a decade of retirement and will be hitting the ice again.

Nikolai Khabibulin Signs A Contract With Torpedo

It was just announced that goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has signed a contract with Torpedo of the KHL.

Nikolai Khabibulin, who is Torpedo's goaltending coach, has signed a one-way contract until the end of the season.

He'll turn 51 in January. The Russian Jagr.
Having last played in October 2013, Khabibulin has decided to don the pads once more for this unexpected return.
With an impressive career that spans 799 NHL games and includes a Stanley Cup victory with the Lightning in 2004, this move further solidifies his legendary status in the world of hockey.
