Former NHL player Mike Ribeiro is once again facing serious charges. Just days after the whole Hockey Canada allegations, it seems another one has emerged for a former NHLer.
Mike Ribeiro Is Facing 50 Years Of Jail Time
Former NHL player Mike Ribeiro stands accused of ******* assaulting two women and attempting to ******* assault a third and faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
Mike Ribeiro appeared in a Texas courtroom today in regards to his sexual assault trial.
Ribeiro, 43, was indicted in 2022 on two counts of SA that allegedly took place in June 2021. He was later indicted by a grand jury on an additional charge of attempted SA.

The alleged incidents occurred on Lake Cypress Springs in June 2021, with one assault on his boat and the others on a Waverunner jetski. Ribeiro maintains his innocence, choosing a jury trial, and his defense has questioned the motives of the accusers and the handling of the investigation by law enforcement.
The trial is expected to last two weeks. Ribeiro has faced similar accusations in the past, with a previous case in 2015 resulting in a settlement.
