BREAKING: Swedish 25-Year Old Defenseman Has Been Placed On Waivers

In breaking news, the Montreal Canadiens have placed one of their defenseman on the waiver wire on Wednesday afternoon.

The Montreal Canadiens have made a roster move placing 25-year old Swedish defenseman Gustav Lindstrom on waivers.

Placed on NHL waivers today: Gustav Lindstrom (MTL).

Lindstrom has three goals, one assist, 15 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and eight hits in 14 contests with the Canadiens this season.

If he goes unclaimed, he will report to Laval in the AHL.
