It's playoff time and you know what that means, the Maple Leafs go from a dominant force to ....... whatever the opposite of that is.

Last night the Maple Leafs hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning in game 1 of their best of seven series and the Maple Leafs were hoping to get a little bit of revenge from their game 7 loss last season, but well, atleast in game one, that was not the case.

By the end of the first period it was 3-0 Tampa, then the Maple Leafs scored two quick goals to cut the lead, but by the end of the second period it was 6-2 Lightning.

At games end the Maple Leafs found themselves down 1-0 in the series, with a 7-3 loss.

Maple Leafs fans are getting very tired of the team choking when it comes to the playoffs year after year, and after the first period last night and each period that followed, they really let their team have it with boo's:
