In a rare twist during tonight's NHL game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers, fans witnessed an unprecedented moment that left everyone surprised.

Florida Panthers Forced To Return From Dressing Room After Celebrating Win Against Toronto Maple Leafs

The controversial incident occurred during a shootout as Evan Rodrigues seemed to secure victory for the Panthers by beating Joseph Woll.

Following the apparent game-winning goal, the Panthers promptly headed for the locker room to celebrate. While this was happening, the referees were reviewing the play. Upon closer inspection, it became evident that Rodrigues had double-touched the puck to push it past Woll so they had to call back the Panthers back onto the ice.

This turn of events shifted the outcome, with Noah Gregor scoring and securing the victory for the Maple Leafs. The Panthers expressed their displeasure with the decision.
