Over the past 2 weeks, Connor Bedard has found himself caught up in some crazy social media rumors involving one of his family members and former teammate Corey Perry.

Winnipeg Jets Media Member Asks Connor Bedard Tone-Deaf Question

When the Hawks visited the Jets, a member of the media asked Bedard a tone-deaf question regarding the rumor.
Winnipeg media asked Connor Bedard about the impact of the Perry «rumors» today. Frankly, I don't think this was an appropriate time to do so. But I do think his response is worth posting:

«It's just a bunch of BS on the internet. It's of course been an affect on myself and my family, and that's not fair. But it's out of our control. It's all just fake, made-up stuff.»

The media member received heavy criticism for the inappropriate question. As a result the owner of the Winnipeg Jets took matter into his own hands.

Winnipeg Jets Owner Confronts Connor Bedard And Offers Apology

In response to the controversial question, the Winnipeg Jets owner entered the Chicago Blackhawks bus to personally apologize to Connor Bedard for what has transpired.
Darren Pang said on #Blackhawks broadcast that Jets owner boarded Hawks' bus to apologize to Connor Bedard for Winnipeg media's continuous questions about made-up rumors in Corey Perry situation.

Going forward hopefully team media members will show some respect to the 18 year old and not ask the stupid question as it has been deemed false.
