Elliotte Friedman Reveals Nashville Predators Defenseman Tyson Barrie Has Been Placed On The Trading Block
The Nashville Predators have granted pending unrestricted free gent defenseman Tyson Barrie permission to talk with other teams to discuss a new contract, as reported by Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet on Saturday.
In an effort to facilitate a trade, Barrie is anticipated to be a healthy scratch in the upcoming game against the New York Rangers.

At 32 years old, Barrie current tly has nine points, averaging 18:51 of ice time over 22 games with the Predators this season.
Originally acquired from the Edmonton Oilers last year, Barrie was part of the exchange for defenseman Mattias Ekholm.
