The highly anticipated best-of-seven series between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Winnipeg Jets has finally commenced, with tonight marking the first game of the series.
As of now, the score remains at 0-0, with both teams putting up a strong fight in the early stages of the game. However, a distressing moment unfolded midway through the first period, which could have resulted in a grave injury.
During a play in front of the Golden Knights' net, Winnipeg Jets' Forward Morgan Barron was pushed forcefully and ended up colliding headfirst into the skate of goaltender Laurent Brossoit.
This was an incredibly alarming incident that immediately caught the attention of both teams and the spectators in the arena. The force of the impact was significant, and it appeared as though Barron could have sustained a serious injury.
