According to insider Elliotte Friedman, 27 year-old sophomore forward has been officially placed on waivers by the Colorado Avalanche.

Olofsson has scored three goals and accumulated nine points in 55 games this season, mainly playing on the fourth line. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, Olofsson will probably join AHL Colorado.
