The New York Rangers have made a move on Tuesday afternoon placing one of their veteran forwards on waivers.

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Pitlick has been placed on waivers.

After being a healthy scratch in Monday's game against the Flames, Pitlick is now being sent down to the minors, provided he clears waivers. In his last 23 games, the winger has only managed to score one point, along with 24 shots, 49 hits, and eight blocks.
The Rangers may opt to recall Pitlick before Thursday's game against the Canadiens, or they might explore bringing up another player from AHL Hartford.
Do you think he will get claimed?
