Games between the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning are always intense, especially after their playoff history, and tonight's match was no exception.

Referees Hand Out 120 PIMs On One Play In A Heated Rivalry Matchup

Unlike previous close encounters, tonight's game saw the Florida Panthers crush the Tampa Bay Lightning 9-2. With such a significant lead, tensions began to rise early in the third period.
The situation escalated dramatically in the final minute of the game. Players began to engage in altercations, leading to the referees losing control of the situation entirely.

With every player pairing off, the referees had no choice but to eject every single player from the game. In total, over 120 minutes in penalties were issued in the final minute alone.
Despite the chaos, the two teams are scheduled to meet again on March 16th, promising another must-see matchup.
