Tyler Myers trade buzz is roaring around the Vancouver Canucks, and the NHL trade deadline pressure is getting real.

David Pagnotta's latest note is simple but loud, Myers would rather stay as far West as possible.
That matters because Myers controls this. He's got a full no-movement clause, and Vancouver can't move him unless he says yes.
The Canucks are already in seller mode at 18-34-7, so every veteran decision feels like a fork in the road.
Myers isn't a points guy right now, but he still soaks minutes. He's at 1-7-8 in 57 games and around 20:13 a night.
Vancouver also has a clean contract to market. Myers carries a $3.0M cap hit through 2026-27, which is a very tradable number for a contender.
The reporting so far has leaned East, with Detroit tied to an offer. Dallas has also been linked as an interested team, and that's the West clue worth circling.
If Myers is steering the process, Dallas fits fast. The Stars can use a big right-shot defender who can survive tough matchups and kill plays late.

Canucks fans feel that mix of dread and relief right now, because the season's gone sideways, but a clean, smart sell could finally stop the bleeding.
Vegas makes sense as a «because Vegas» option. They chase blue-line insurance every spring, and Myers' reach helps when games get tight.
Los Angeles also lines up. The Kings love structure, and Myers can keep the crease clear while their puck-movers push the pace.
Colorado is another logical West landing spot if injuries hit. Myers isn't flashy, but he can chew minutes behind an attack-first pair.
Edmonton will get linked by geography alone, but at least one recent report suggests the Oilers aren't in on him right now.
The next game doesn't matter as much as the next phone call, because Myers choosing «West only» could shrink the market and still raise the price.
