Utah's new NHL city, formerly the Arizona Coyotes, have announced their name, logos, and jerseys for the 2024-25 NHL season.
For their first season, they will go by 'Utah HC,' with a new identity to be chosen for the 2025-26 season. The Smith Entertainment Group, headed by owner Ryan Smith, announced the name in a prepared statement:
"While the community continues to vote for the official name of the team for the 2024-25 season, the team will be known as Utah Hockey Club - leading proudly with the state identity and accompanied by a more formal naming convention used by many of the League's other member clubs.'
The finalists for the team name are: Blizzard, Mammoth, Outlaws, Venom, Yeti, and keeping the name Utah Hockey Club, or Utah HC.
At least the jerseys look nice. The team unveiled their jerseys and logos for their inaugural season, and honestly, they look pretty sharp.

Their colour scheme will include several thematic names, such as rock black, salt white, and a light blue that resonated the mountains of Utah.
