After the New York Rangers lost to the Florida Panthers last night, a trade was finalized between the Rangers and the Columbus Blue Jackets involving Jack Roslovic.
At the NHL trade deadline, the New York Rangers acquired speedy winger Jack Roslovic from the Columbus Blue Jackets.
"TRADE: The New York Rangers have acquired Jack Roslovic from the Columbus Blue Jackets."

The trade included a fourth-round pick that could upgrade to a third-round pick if the Rangers made it to the Stanley Cup Finals. However, with the Panthers defeating the Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals, the pick will not upgrade.
"Draft condition update: The 2026 4th round pick #NYR sent to #CBJ in the Jack Roslovic trade will NOT upgrade to a 2026 3rd round pick."

Roslovic played well for the Rangers in the playoffs, scoring two goals and eight points in 16 games. It is unknown if the Rangers will re-sign Roslovic, as he is now a pending unrestricted free agent.
