Controversial former NHL player Alex Galchenyuk has hit rock bottom and been kicked out of his KHL team.
Former NHL player Alex Galchenyuk has faced a series of setbacks in his hockey career. After a promising start with the Montreal Canadiens, he struggled with multiple teams in the NHL before being arrested on various charges in 2022. Following this incident, he moved to Russia to continue playing in the KHL.
"Alex Galchenyuk, who signed a two-year deal with SKA of the KHL in August 2023, has been released from his deal.
He then signed a one-year contract with Amur Khabarovsk in the far east side of Russia."

Recently, Galchenyuk's troubles continued as he was kicked out of his KHL team, SKA. However, he quickly found a new team, Amur Khabarovsk, in the far east of Russia. Despite his legal history, Galchenyuk has shown some on-ice performance, scoring 42 points in 61 games this season.
