A 33-year-old NHL veteran was just cut from his PTO making his future in the NHL quite uncertain.

Chiasson Cut From Bruins Camp

It was just announced by head coach Jim Montgomery that Alex Chiasson has been released from his PTO.
Montgomery: The Bruins have released Alex Chiasson from his PTO.

Chiasson has 651 games of NHL experience with seven different teams, the most recent being the Detroit Red Wings.
Chiasson is seen as a bottom-six forward who can be a powerplay specialist. His knack for the net can seen in his career totals posting 120 goals and only 113 assists.
Now with his future uncertain, Chiasson may have to resort to the minor leagues or even overseas if he wants to continue his career in hockey and eventually return to the NHL.
