The Boston Bruins have faced tough losses to the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers, which left head coach Jim Montgomery visibly displeased. During Monday's practice, Montgomery didn't hold back, delivering strong words and pushing his players through intense drills.

Reports suggest Montgomery was animated and vocal, urging his players to wake up as they worked through sprint drills. Montgomery openly expressed his dissatisfaction with his team's performance, particularly after their loss to the Flyers.
Jim Montgomery was not happy with that last drill.

«Wake the f—- up!» Here come the sprints.
The tough approach from Montgomery reflects his belief that the team needs to step up as they approach the Stanley Cup playoffs. While the coach can deliver the message, it's ultimately up to the players to respond and bring their best effort.
"I hated the way we finished the game in Philly. We weren't prepared to start practice today," said the fired up Bruins coach.
Team captain Brad Marchand supported Montgomery's approach, acknowledging that the tough love was warranted given the team's recent performance.
"You know it's one of those things," admitted Marchand. "Every day it's our job to be sharp and to be on the ball and we weren't today. It's a great reminder from Monty that expectations are high here. Completely warranted, especially with the games we have coming up."

Marchand emphasized the importance of accountability and being sharp every day.
"We need to be dialed in every day and we weren't for the start of practice," admitted Marchand. "So great job by him to notice that and keep us accountable and get us dialed in."
Marchand believes the locker room received the message loud and clear, indicating a willingness to respond and improve moving forward.
Do you think the Boston Bruins will respond next game?
