The Carolina Hurricanes have a good mix of young players and veteran within their lineup.

With that comes a clash between older player and younger ones, concerning the general mood in the locker room.

Last night, after the Canes' third consecutive wins, the 21-year-old forward Seth Jarvis was in a great mood, reflecting the general state of the locker room.

Jarvis Makes Hilarious Comment About his Veteran Teammates

In an interview, he explained his role in the locker room filled with older veterans:

"I got a lot of built up energy," admitted Jarvis with a smile. "We got a lot of old people on this team so I feel like they need my help."

"It's fun to kind of get everyone going, I think everyone depends on me to lighten the mood," he added.

"I have trouble being serious sometimes which I think some of the older guys don't like," admitted Jarvis.

This humorous comment highlights his contagious personality. Just imagine 38-year-old Brent Burns or 35-year-old captain Jordan Staal, react to his shenanigans. Jarvis certainly brings a lot to the team on and off the ice.

Jarvis is currently playing the best hockey of his career, with a tally of 27 points, including 13 goals, in 37 games, which is considerably more than his first seasons in the NHL.

Do you think Jarvis will score 70 points or more this season?

As seen on Hockey Feed - Jarvis publicly roasts the veterans on his own team.
