Connor Bedard Addressed the heartbreaking loss after the game.
Bedard Speaks Out About Team Canada Elimination
Bedard famously put up 23 points in 7 games last year as he lead Canada to a goal medal. This year he could not join the team as he is a centerpiece for the Blackhawks in the NHL. That did not stop him from watching the game though and he was just as upset as his former teammates.
Connor Bedard was heartbroken about Canada's loss in World Juniors: "I know a lot of guys on the team, and being a Canadian, we take a lot of pride in that. I just feel bad for those guys and how hard they played. It sucks, for sure." #Blackhawks
Bedard knows what it is like to win it all, but now many of his former teammates have experienced a level of heart break he has yet to face in his young career. Hopefully Canada will redeem themselves next season as they look to win the goal once again after this embarrassing defeat.
