The Blackhawks have had quite the tough schedule to start the season as they are already facing off against the Golden Knights for the second time tonight. The team has handled the tough stretch of schedule rather well despite their 2-5 record.
Bedard Warming Up
Connor Bedard, defactor franchise leader for the Hawks, has had a tough time scoring despite averaging over three shots per game as a rookie. Coming into tonight he had just 2 goals on 22 shots for a less than 10% shooting percentage. He changed that tonight though as he scored on a breakaway, beating Adin Hill.
Vegas Makes Fun Of Bedard On Social media
The Golden Knights X admin was quick to post about the goal, making fun of Bedard for being... underaged.
Despite the fact that Nevada's economy replies heavily on gambling, the legal age for gambling there is actually 21 meaning, as the knights pointed out, Bedard is not old enough to step into Vegas casinos. Guess he'll have to spend his time scoring goals against the knights instead.
