Patrick Kane Responds To Connor Bedard Following Big Hit

In a clash of generations, Connor Bedard, the rising star, delivered a solid hit on Patrick Kane during the third period, pinning the veteran against the glass.
Kane jokingly commented on the hit after the game, saying, "He's lucky he had the bubble on, or I was going after him."
While Bedard isn't known for his physical play, the encounter showcased his ability to mix it up when necessary. Despite being smaller than Kane, Bedard made his presence felt.
For Kane, the game marked a significant moment in his career as it was his first time playing as a visitor at the United Center. Just over a year ago, Kane almost scored a buzzer-beater goal in his final home game, narrowly missing the mark. Tonight he scored the game winning overtime goal and the fans gave him a standing ovation.
Before the game, Kane had praise for Bedard, recognizing his talent and the impact he's making on the sport. Kane remarked, "He's been amazing... He's worth the price of admission. He does special things. He's going to be a great player for a long time."
Kane's words underscored Bedard's importance as a cornerstone for the team's future and the excitement surrounding his potential.
