Jamie Benn and Pat Maroon Drop the Mitts in Heavyweight Bout

After the game was all but over and the Wild netted their 4th goal, Jamie Benn decided that he had enough and took out his frustration with fellow heavyweight Pat Maroon. The two squared off in an old-school heavyweight tilt at center ice.

It's hard to tell if either really had the upper hand in the bout, though it appears Maroon landed more punches.

Although it was only a preseason game, the bad blood from last year's playoff series has seemed to carry over into this season. The rivalry will surely continue into the regular season as games become more important.

The dislike even appears to be held by fans, as it was reported that a fan threw popcorn at Jamie Benn in the penalty box after the fight.
