Edmonton Oilers player Corey Perry made an unexpected appearance at WWE's Friday Night Smackdown and even got involved in the action.

While the NHL season is still on break, Perry found himself in a different kind of brawl on Friday night. The veteran forward attended WWE Smackdown in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta, expecting to enjoy the show. But things quickly escalated when wrestlers Austin Theory and Grayson Waller came out wearing Florida Panthers jerseys, taking a jab at the local fans.
With tensions high, the action spilled out of the ring and got too close for Perry. Not one to back down, he jumped in, grabbing Theory from behind and giving Canadian wrestler Kevin Owens the perfect chance to land a big hit. Owens delivered a loud slap, much to the crowd's delight.
It seems Perry might have a future in wrestling after his hockey days are over!
